We often take for granted the things we have while others run after them. KTF recognizes the struggles and hardships of those less privileged than us, so we believe we must be compassionate and generous. Our goal is to continue to provide basic necessities to those in need. We also strive to spread awareness about the importance of volunteerism and how it can help create a better world. We believe that together, we can make a difference. We encourage everyone to help in any way they can. Even a small act of kindness can go a long way. Let us all come together to create a better world for everyone.
Bingerville, Ivory Coast
Our kick-off mission began in Bingerville, a small town in the South East of the Ivory Coast. We visited a well-known boys' orphanage called "Orphelina de Garcons de Bingerville". This literally translates as "Boys' Orphanage". Mr. Ouattara, the orphanage manager, extended a warm welcome to us. He was grateful to Kind Touch for choosing his orphanage as the recipient of its first food donation. We had the opportunity to learn more about the needs of the facility and meet some of the children. They were full of life and had big dreams for the future. We promised Outtara that this visit would not be our last.
As part of the event, we also presented two gifts to two long-time female employees whom we learned were very dedicated to the orphanage and its mission. Taking this step reflects our mission to recognize and encourage individuals who devote their lives to service to the community.
Abidjan, Ivory Coast
A visit to a pastor who is also impacting his community concluded our mission. Pastor Richmond Ble and his team conduct regular events in various neighborhoods in Abidjan and nearby cities. Apart from preaching the gospel during these events, his church also provides clothing and other necessities to people in need. The pastor needed a microphone for his different events, and Kind Touch was delighted to provide him with two new wireless microphones. The smile on his face was evidence that we succeeded in our objective of making people smile.
